Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2025

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Toronto Web Design website and any services purchased from Toronto Web Design, a division of Infodots (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website or purchasing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

Toronto Web Design provides custom web design, development, SEO, and related digital services as described on our website. Specific deliverables for each project are detailed in the project proposal sent to you prior to payment.

3. Payment Terms

  • All services require 100% upfront payment to begin. No exceptions.
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe. Accepted payment methods include Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
  • Your payment slot is reserved upon receipt of cleared funds. Work begins on the next available start date.
  • After year one, domain, hosting, and email renewals are the client's responsibility unless a Care Plan is in place.

4. Refund Policy

No refunds are provided once payment has been made and a project slot has been booked. By making payment, you understand and agree to this policy. This is due to the immediate allocation of dedicated team resources to your project upon payment.

We offer unlimited revisions throughout the design and development process to ensure your complete satisfaction. We do not launch any website without your explicit approval.

5. Project Timeline

Our standard delivery timeline is 10–20 business days from design sign-off and agreement completion. Timelines are estimates and may vary based on client responsiveness, feedback turnaround, and scope changes.

Delays caused by the client (e.g. delayed feedback, delayed content provision, or delayed approvals) are not the responsibility of Toronto Web Design and do not affect our payment terms.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate business information and content in a timely manner
  • Respond to design mockups, proofs, and questions within a reasonable timeframe
  • Ensure you have the right to use any third-party materials (logos, images, content) you provide to us
  • Not use the completed website for any unlawful purpose

7. Intellectual Property & Code Ownership

Upon full payment and project completion, you own 100% of the website code and all custom design assets created for your project. We retain the right to display your website in our portfolio unless you instruct us otherwise in writing.

Any third-party software, frameworks, or open-source components used in your website remain subject to their respective licences. You are responsible for compliance with those licences upon delivery.

8. Hosting, Domain & Email

Our package includes 1 year of premium hosting, 1 year domain registration, and 1 year business email. After year one, you are responsible for renewal of these services unless you have an active Care Plan with us. We will provide all account access details at project completion.

9. Maintenance & Support

1 year of free maintenance and priority support is included with every website package, commencing on the website launch date. This covers minor content updates and technical support. Major structural changes or new page builds are not included and may be quoted separately.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Toronto Web Design shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our services or website.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the provision of services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
